Let's you read nhk and easy nhk articles with or without furigana and jlpt word colorings. An easy tap to define system and apparently an option to enable such for furigana as well (I leave mine on). The built in dictionary helps makes reading as smooth as possible and is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks so much :)

This is probably the best japanese reading app available. The app has some pretty great features including JLPT level marked words, vocabulary building lists, book marks to your favorite articles, and an amazing dark mode option. But as great as the app is, it isn't without its faults. The app is fairly buggy and some features (though nice to have) the way they're implemented isn't very intuitive. Ive even had one instance where an article wouldn't even open. It's a bit buggy, but also the best.

Every update it runs worse. I send them emails to fix it and they said I just needed to reinstall so I did and it still crashes within 10 seconds. I'm on Samsung galaxy 9 too so this shouldn't be a problem. I've had problems on my android tablet and Apple tablet as well. So they really need to fix this app. I like the app but I haven't been able to use it in months. And I paid for it.
