I can toggle fumigant on and off as much as I want whilst reading (perfect for when I forget the reading of a kanji), clicking on kanji that I don’t know comes up with the meaning, reading, JLPT grade and more compound words with that kanji. I can make the font size larger, so I don’t have to squint, the content is updated regularly, and the app is easy to navigate. Would love it if you could add accompanying audio to the articles, otherwise it's a great app and I would recommend. Good job

The best app I've found for reading the learner NHK news stories. Sleek and with a functional, uncluttered dictionary. Once you can favorite stories/view a list of previously read stories, it'll be perfect.

I don't know why, but it keeps freezing when I try to see an article and my phone restarts when it does.

The app is still functionally very good and useful, but while my primary draw originally was that many articles were simplified news articles, the past few months the articles themselves have become dominated by content made by Mango. While I like the mango app when I am looking to use their learning tools, here their articles have made this app rarely if ever have actual news articles. I don't know if Mango purchased this app or what, but the change in content is disappointing.
