I'd really like to give 5 stars cause my rate for full coverage on my car is unbelievable. Like seriously, the cheapest rate I got from anywhere else was The General with Progressive a close 2nd... I compared the coverage I'm getting with Lemonade to The General and Progressive. I was very meticulous about it and for THE EXACT SAME COVERAGE, The General and Progressive were trying to charge me 200-300% more than Lemonade. The ONLY reason for 4 stars is that website and app kept timing out.

I'm happy that I chose Lemonade Renters Insurance. It's a good company. Plus it's quite easy to pay for every month, I set up automatic payments that way I don't have to worry about forgetting to pay for my rental insurance. My renters' insurance policy, is not expensive.

Have been paying their high prices for pet illness coverage. As soon as my pup gets sick they deny the claim for 3 different reasons. Standard insurance company that will find every reason not to pay when you need them. Absolutely abhorrent.

I wouldn't recommend Lemonade for homeowners insurance. Three years ago, they offered the least expensive annual premium. Last month they requested multiple pics of my home. I complied. I got another Email asking for additional pics. I felt frustrated and asked the Lemonade rep to please call me. Instead, I got another long-winded Email and a Customer Service number, which I tried but didn't get a human. UPDATE: they said they're non-renewing my policy -- BEFORE the deadline to respond.
