I thought I would give this app a second chance. My mistake! Clearly KCRA app developers have NO IDEA what constitutes "breaking news", and just sends a steady, day-long stream of ping ping ping "Breaking news! A squirrel just ran up a tree!" I blocked all notifications. Now if I could figure out how to get ENGLISH commercials instead of SPANISH. Or maybe I'll just delete the app again.

Phishing Ads in this app. It had Ad with supposedly McDonald's gift cards and I got attacked by Phishing emails and Phishing Text to my smartphone. And after all No Mcd. Gift card. Horrible. Very Bad app. Not trustworthy. Beware.

TOO MANY NOTIFICATIONS I've updated notifications, but apparently KCRS thinks things are breaking news that just AREN'T.

Update: the app is now continuously saying it will not open because it has a bug. I have been trying for a while now to just open it to glance at the news. It won't even let me do that. ********** Sometimes the live reports are a little slow with loading, but overall pretty happy with this app. Before I wouldn't have anytime to keep up with the news-with kids that happens. Now I can at least glance at it at times & sometimes read the articles in the middle of the night.
