★★★★★ Great app! Works really well! I don't understand why there are negative reviews. This does require you to use your phone constantly while on the course, and It does cost some money, but I've tried others and ended up coming right back to this one. It's great for previewing the holes, tracking shots, and keeping score. I was able to link it to my USGA account for my handicap index. It doesn't have any wearable connectivity for Android, only the Apple Watch, which is kind of a bummer.

★★★★★ The phone app for Android is not working. Update. Golf shot did get back to me. I'm just waiting on when they plan to release the Android fix. UPDATE!!! The Android fix came out, and it works well so far! There are new features such as shot tracking that works with the wearable! Also, the wearable GPS keeps accurate distances when you are away from your phone. I have never seen an OEM be so truthful and transparent about an issue with their product! Hats off to Golf shot !!!

★★☆☆☆ I like this app and recently started using it again after some time away from the game. For some reason now though, whenever I start a round the handicap on the scorecard changes from that on my account. For example, I set my handicap to 18 but the in-round scorecard shows it as 20 meaning I get extra shots from a stable ford perspective. This causes confusion when comparing scores at the end of the round with my friends who use different apps to track our scores.

★★☆☆☆ I have been using the free version for about 2 years. Last year, game adds would show up when starting the app. After the adds started showing, something is using the battery at a very accelerated rate. My 100% charged Samsung S23 ultra will be completely dead by the 13 or 14 hole. The only time I have this problem is when I use the Golf shot app. I would be happy to pay for it, but I'm not sure that would stop it from killing my battery.
