Most items are identified as gluten-free or not. Occasionally, an item will be unknown. I can't speak on the accuracy of the info. I have not had a reaction based on using it so far. It is handy to use while shopping instead of reading the ingredients.

As a Celiac I've been using this app to help me find safe food. First thing I ever scanned was ready to bake tortillas. It said (and still says) gluten-free. Was sick as a dog last night/today. Finally, checked the ingredients and the very first ingredient is WHEAT FLOUR.

Need to modify the scan for ingredients. I just scanned a bag of meatballs and the app states gluten-free but min ingredient I'd wheat bread crumbs

This thing does not work does not tell you if there could be cross-contamination, and they tell you to check ingredients why do you need to check ingredients if the scanner works
