★★☆☆☆ I have played this game for over a decade. I still enjoy the game play, but everything has gotten so expensive (12k jewelry? Come on, Covet!). You do not get rewarded enough to continue to play and compete without spending obscene amounts of money. So if you want to seriously compete and advance quickly, be prepared to spend, spend, spend. (Oh, there's also the fact that the developers take back items you've purchased, and they WILL NOT entertain the idea of giving them back or reimbursing you.)
